Frequently Asked Questions

What delimiters are supported?

The tool supports comma, semicolon, and tab delimiters. It auto-detects the delimiter from your data, or you can select it manually from a dropdown.

How are headers handled?

When "first row as headers" is enabled (default), the first row values become JSON object keys. When disabled, the tool uses index-based keys (col0, col1, etc.).

Does it handle quoted fields?

Yes, the parser correctly handles fields wrapped in double quotes, including fields that contain commas, newlines, or escaped quotes inside them.

Can I upload a CSV file instead of pasting?

Yes, you can upload a .csv file directly from your computer using the file upload button. The tool reads the file entirely in your browser — no data is sent to any server. Uploaded files are parsed immediately and shown in the table preview.
